Our parking lot is located directly at the Schloßschenke.
From the car park, a 350-metre paved footpath leads to the castle grounds.

How to get there by public transport
Unfortunately, public transport does not lead directly to the castle.
The nearest bus stops are in Unterhausen (Oberhausener Steige),Honau and Traifelberg. From there you can hike to the castle.

Sonnenalbexpress
On the Reutlingen - Engstingen route, a bus with a bicycle trailer runs several times a day on Sundays and public holidays fromApril to October, which connects to the Swabian Alb Railway in Engstingen. The "Aufberg" stop also serves the nearby stop to Lichtenstein Castle.
In addition, there are other connections from Engstingen train station directly to Lichtenstein Castle (without taking bicycles with you).
